These Terms of Service govern your use of the PromoLens Chrome extension, website and hosted analysis service (collectively, the “Service”). PromoLens is offered by Amadoso (“Amadoso,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
PromoLens analyses a Reddit post only when you ask it to and returns an estimate of promotional likelihood, disclosure status, confidence and supporting signals. The free plan includes 20 analyses initially and 5 analyses each month afterward. PromoLens Plus includes 500 analyses per month and may be activated on up to two installations. Unused monthly analyses do not roll over.
We may adjust features, quotas and provider infrastructure to maintain security, quality or economic sustainability. Material changes to a paid plan will be communicated before they take effect.
2. Estimates and independent judgment
PromoLens provides informational estimates, not factual determinations about an author, product or post. Results may be incomplete or wrong. You remain responsible for your own interpretation and decisions. Do not use the Service as the sole basis for harassment, reporting, moderation, employment, credit, legal or other consequential decisions.
PromoLens is an independent product and is not affiliated with Reddit. Reddit and related marks belong to their respective owners.
3. Purchases and subscriptions
PromoLens Plus is a recurring monthly subscription priced at $4.99 USD before any applicable tax. Paddle acts as our Merchant of Record and handles checkout, payment processing, invoices, taxes and subscription management. Your payment transaction is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms presented at checkout.
Your subscription renews automatically each month until canceled. You may cancel through the Paddle customer portal before the next renewal. Cancellation prevents future charges and access continues through the paid billing period. Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian. You may not misuse the Service, attempt to bypass quotas, interfere with its operation, probe it for vulnerabilities without authorization, resell access, use it to harass others, or use automated means to analyse content at scale.
5. Open-source components and ownership
The PromoLens source repository identifies code made available under the MIT License. The hosted Service, branding, website copy and non-open-source operational components remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant rights to the PromoLens or Amadoso names or marks.
6. Suspension and termination
We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, fraud, security threats, legal obligations or material violation of these Terms. You may stop using the free Service at any time and cancel a paid subscription through Paddle.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amadoso will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
